Which is better — watching from the ghat or from a boat?
Both are beautiful. From the ghat, you are in the crowd and can feel the energy up close. From a boat, you have an unobstructed panoramic view of all the priests simultaneously and can photograph the scene without crowds. We offer both options. Most photographers prefer the boat view.
Is it necessary to book in advance for Ganga Aarti?
For peak season (October–March) and festival periods, advance booking is strongly recommended — especially for boats. During Dev Deepawali and Mahashivratri, boats are booked 3–6 months in advance. We recommend booking at least 24–48 hours ahead.
